Join us as Monica Foderingham highlights the diversity of the Caribbean diaspora in the metro area by showcasing unique aspects of Caribbean culture such as food, film, and music. Sharing her immigration journey to the U.S., Charmaine Hooke-Powell will remember the pivotal moment when she embraced her identity as a black individual and the challenges of assimilation.
Our program will include celebratory musical selections from singer Nzinga Benton.
The event culminates with a spectacular meal from Phenomenal Foods by Chef Holly.
